OTTO LÜCKE is the new interdisciplinary project from Grammy-nominated engineer and producer Julián Picado.
Picado has performed at New York institutions including Nowadays, Elsewhere, and Brooklyn Steel. He appeared with Brooklyn icon Bayli at Boiler Room and toured with them in support of Magdalena Bay and Slayyyter. He has shared bills with underground fixtures such as Lauren Flax, Relaxer, and DJ Bowlcut.
As an engineer, his credits span from Grammy-nominated work on James Fauntleroy & Terrace Martin’s Nova and Eladio Carrión’s Sol María to sessions with legends Keith Richards and Steve Jordan.
With OTTO LÜCKE, Julián distills these experiences into a subversive, surreal vision of electronic music—re-imagining the mundane as the avant-garde.
